How does Kangaroo Kitchen know which nights are busy?
Either you tell it or your phone works it out. Turn on Busy night when you pick a dinner, or turn on Busy nights from your calendar in Settings. Your phone looks at when you are busy between 5 and 8 pm and sends us one number: the minutes you have to cook that night. Event details never leave your phone.

- On the Plan tab, tap a night.
- Turn on Busy night. That night gets a 25 minute hands-on budget.
From your calendar
- Open Settings, then Busy nights from your calendar.
- Turn on your phone calendar and choose which calendars count.
Your phone takes the longest free stretch between 5 and 8 pm and keeps 30 minutes of it for eating. An evening with 90 minutes or more free counts as open. A night you set by hand is never overwritten.
