Why a dinner picker that uses your own meals
Most random dinner generators pull from a big list of recipes, so the answer is often something your family won't eat or that needs a shopping trip. The hard part of weeknight dinner is rarely finding a new recipe. It is deciding, at five o'clock, between the fifteen or twenty meals you already know how to make and everyone will eat. This picker keeps to that list. Put in your rotation once, tag the meals that are quick, and it chooses for you. On nights you mark busy it only picks quick meals, the way you would yourself. Nothing you type leaves your browser, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
How to use it
- Edit the list so it holds the dinners your family already eats, or tap ideas to add them, and tag the quick ones.
- Tap the days of the week when there is little time to cook.
- Choose Decide tonight for one dinner, or Fill my week for seven with no repeats.
